"My family has been with State Farm since 2004 and other family members longer than that; they recommended State Farm to us. Our local agent used to be John Dawson in Hazlehurst until his death; he was wonderful, he and his staff were there over the years for everything we needed. Our current agent, Kailey Dees and her staff, in Vidalia were awesome during our son's passing in January of last year. They processed his claim within five days of his death. Now, we have an agent in Hazlehurst, Daniel Ellis who cannot be relied on. My mother-in-law passed in February of this year and to date - April 15th we still do not have the claim processed. This agent is rarely in the office; the office is rarely open and even though the paperwork has been submitted by the funeral home along with the death certificate, we still cannot get the claim completed. If you are with State Farm, I suggest you move your policy from the Hazlehurst office to another agent who is actually doing their job."

"Hey Sandra, I just want you to know how sorry I am. From the bottom of my heart I am truly sorry. I understand your frustration for how things have been handled out of my office these last few months. I have been out of the office more so than I wanted to be. It’s definitely not because I wanted to be. I’m not one for excuses but I do want to give you an explanation. In February my symptoms of severe fatigue got worse than it’s ever been. I went to see my dr to address the issue. A day after my appointment I fell asleep at the wheel and totaled my truck. This led to a long process of sleep studies to which I was diagnosed with narcolepsy. I’m just now getting back to my old self but I know that doesn’t make up for the disservice you and your family received from my Office. I take my job very serious and love what I do so again please forgive me for not being there for you like I should have been. "

"Lady ran a stop sign causing me to hit the side of her car. She told 911 and the police it was her fault. Police wrote it up as her fault. Contacted Daniel Ellis the same day to notify him of the wreck. 12 days later he had done absolutely nothing to help me. I had to obtain the police report, file the claim, deal with both State Farm and her insurance company. State Farm has given me a really hard time as 12 days later they're still trying to determine fault when it's already been determined. Who needs an agent who doesn't even bother to call you back?"
